Assistant Office Administrator - London

We are looking for an assistant administrator to support the Studio Manager in running our office.

This person must be a good communicator with a friendly, approachable personality and a positive multi-tasking attitude. The role demands a diverse range of skills, from welcoming visitors, making refreshments and basic administration tasks, through to physical day-to-day manual activity to organise the space.

It is essential that the successful candidate can take direction and successfully prioritise tasks combined with taking initiative and being proactive with the role.

Other tasks include: General housekeeping of the office and meeting spaces; Answering telephones; Assisting in building and facilities maintenance; Liaising with suppliers and arranging presentations and visits; Ordering and Monitoring of office supplies: stationary, groceries; Wider admin support to the studio.

Brinkworth uses Mac computers, and candidates would be expected to be proficient in Microsoft office and Outlook email and calendars. The phone system is IPECS.

Starting Salary: £20,000 - £22,000

Senior Designer/Associate Director - London

We are looking for an experienced senior designer/associate director with proven experience in the RETAIL and HOSPITALITY sectors.

This role requires:

A minimum of eight years professional experience in all stages of the design process from concept to on-site implementation across a range of project scales.

The ability to combine the creative and operational aspects of design projects, and to encourage and manage a project team.

A sophisticated and contemporary design language that can be conveyed through visualisation and drawing skills, both computer aided and freehand.

Excellent communication skills and client presentation experience.

Overseeing week-to-week operations, including project planning and reporting, and attending managers meetings. With support from the directors and internal project manager you will produce cost estimates and programmes, time manage project milestones and deliverables, and report to the financial team on project status for billing purposes.

Proficiency in Vectorworks (2D and 3D) and Photoshop essential.

Competency in 3D modeling and visual rendering in Artlantis, Renderworks and/or Sketchup.

Competency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office.
All candidates should be fluent in English.
Salary negotiable dependent on experience.
