Deep fried design

Michael Marriott invited us to collaborate on a new restaurant scheme. BIRD is a unique fried chicken concept and the brainchild of Paul and Cara Hemmings, with art direction by Paul Cohen.

Located within a classic industrial warehouse space in London’s Shoreditch, intense high gloss colours and glowing neon signage are beautifully juxtaposed against the rough urban interior shell of raw concrete, brick and new timber. Many of the design details give a cheeky nod to typical fast food interiors but in a sophisticated and crisp way.
