Fried chicken mastery
We worked with Kokodoo on a new, upscale entry into London’s fast-casual dining scene. A clean, simple approach to the design reflects the family-owned business’s working process, which rests on masterful technique, attention to detail and good, uncomplicated service.
The Fulham restaurant’s façade stands as a calm and warm invitation that stands apart from the design tropes of fried chicken spots. Inside, a coffered ceiling brings depth and texture, housing a light raft that sets the tone with a warm, neutral glow across pale timber walls and stainless-steel surfaces. Ivory tiles are precisely aligned with interior elements for a harmonious feel.
A long communal table where single diners, couples and families can eat together reflects Korean tradition. The design brings a flavour of Korea to London, in a language that is simple and economical, yet comfortable and premium.
