Experimentation from London to LA
Experimentation from London to LA
Nomadic fashion brand Browns came to us with an ambitious plan – to establish a new blueprint for the future of retail around the globe.
Browns has been a London fashion landmark since the seventies and wanted to open an experiential space in Shoreditch. Their first new store to open in decades, the design was treated as a series of installations, combining sculpture with open space to offer flexibility for brand takeovers and product storytelling.
We then took the concept to the other side of the Atlantic for Browns first retail project outside the UK, with a temporary store-in-store at Fred Segal, Los Angeles. Referencing the London design’s colour and texture palette, we placed both luxury and utilitarian sheet materials within customised industrial trolleys to create an unexpected mix of backdrops and displays. The aim of both stores was to spark a sense of exploration and discovery
