Fornasetti has launched a concession in the luxury homeware department at Harrods. The 70 sq.m space showcases the brand’s whimsical spirit through a retail concept that plays with illusion and abundance.
Led by creative director Barnaba Fornasetti, the heritage homeware company has strong artistic roots, which we saw as an opportunity to bring a playful irreverence to a retail setting. Bespoke wall cabinets with dozens of cubby holes to house Fornasetti’s unique objets d’art, while stained ash timber cabinetry and terrazzo flooring form a warm and inviting material palette that nods to the brand's Italian roots.
