TGF from London to Tokyo
Cult jewellery maker, The Great Frog, first approached us in 2018 to design a store that remained true to the brand's identity and history. The store also needed to convey a fresh, forward-looking direction for the brand's new Shoreditch location. The team collated a dramatic and subversive interior, with a black 1987 Buick Grand National taking centre stage.
The store in Tokyo, fulfils a lifelong ambition for The Great Frog owner Reino Lehtonen-Riley. The opening was coupled with the launch of a product collaboration with Tokyo label ‘Neighbourhood’, and the notorious annual Mooneyes Hot Rod Custom Show. The relationship between fashion and custom motorbike culture is integral to The Great Frog’s identity, and therefore integral to our concept, positioning The Great Frog at the heart of this same culture in Japan.
