We have worked with Fred Perry to design a new concept for their relocated Manchester store and latest showroom. The 2820 sq ft space is located in Bruntwood Work's iconic Afflecks building in the city's Northern Quarter.

Inspired by its new home at the heart of Manchester's alternative cultural neighborhood, the store's design appropriately takes its cues from the brands past, present, and future without feeling too nostalgic. The concept celebrates the city's industrial heritage with references to the cotton industry and the brand's founder Fred Perry, born in Stockport.

A limited material palette works to accentuate a series of well-considered architectural interventions that add character and differentiate the retail space to the showroom. The showroom becomes an object within the store with semi-transparent screens to suggest a 'room within a room.'
